“So my Dad is here, following a severe ischemic stroke. I toured a bunch of rehab facilities before deciding on this one, and I definitely liked this one the best. The staff seem to like one another and the patients in their care. There was a level of positive casual interaction between everyone, which I did not see at the other facilities I toured. So this whole thing has been so hard. It’s amazing more people don’t talk about these profound changes people go through as they get older, and how heartbreaking it can be. Anyway, from the director, to the finance department. to the nurses and CNA team, to the therapy dept., everyone we met here seems to genuinely care and have limitless patience. And a good attitude . Obviously, this is so important when they’re dealing with people at their most vulnerable. The building is definitely older, but was definitely clean. I think they have a dog who runs around and a happy hour program, too. Very thankful we found this place.”

“I recently stayed here for about 2 1/2 weeks. I really liked the place. Everyone on the staff was so professional, friendly and caring! The facility is kept very clean and neat. Every day people were sweeping and mopping the floors. There’s even a separate place for smokers to go to up to 5 times a day for a 30 minute smoke break. The only drawback at this facility is the food but it was improving during the second week and I know they’re continuously working on it. I would definitely stay here again. Shout outs to Tracy, Tom, Anna, Anna, Cici, George, Charlene, Ben and countless others that helped me thru my stay. Also the nurse that got me thru an asthma attack.

You have to understand that a rehab is not a hospital, the caregivers have at least 12 patients at a time and they hustling all day long! If you treat them kindly, it will come back to you in a myriad of ways.”

“The care I have received here has been wonderful. From section manager. Arnie to housekeeper, Daisy, everyone was kind and professional. I would especially like to recognize OT, Shelby, Tina, other Tina, PT, Mike, Nursing , CC, Efron, CNAs Rose, Alex, Adrian, Anna. The above mentioned are just a few of the fine people who took care of me. The low patient to caregiver ratio here shows in the care we patients receive. Thank you to the entire staff.”

“My 87 yr old mom was transferred to Ambassador after a bad fall and a couple mini strokes thereafter! After 22 days with Ambassador and Kaitlyn’s, KC’s, Shelby (and many other team members) she came home back to Michigan in great spirits! Thanks Ambassador for all of your TLC and care for our Mom!”
